Cut 3 is in the folder.
One link for the whole project. Each new cut appears in the folder your client already has open.

The problem
Every round of feedback means another export, another upload and another link in the thread, until nobody knows which one is current. With ordner.link the client keeps one link and the folder shows what is there right now.
Why it works
- One link per project
- Clients keep one link and open it for every round. You stop explaining which email holds the latest cut.
- Less export busywork
- Move the finished export into the folder and you're done. No upload step and no new message to write after each revision.
- Big files, no fuss
- Final cuts are too large for most email and transfer limits. Here the client simply downloads the file when it is ready.
How to set it up
Create a review folder for the project and choose Share with ordner.link.
Keep only View ticked and set Link expires to match the project, or to Never for long jobs.
Export the cut, then move the finished file into the folder. It is there for your client to download, or to watch if it is small enough.
What to keep in mind
A file still being exported is already visible in the folder, and downloading it then fails or gives an incomplete file. So export elsewhere and move it in, or tell your client when it is ready. Your Mac must be awake and online while they watch.
Questions
Can clients watch in the browser?
Yes, for formats their browser can play, up to 100 MB (50 MB on phones). Larger files download instead, which suits final cuts.
Do I get a new link for each cut?
No. The link belongs to the folder, so it stays the same for the whole project.
