Applications in a folder, not an inbox.

One link per job. Applications arrive as files in a folder you control, not as attachments in a shared inbox.

The problem

Portfolios bounce off attachment limits and applications get lost in shared mailboxes. An upload-only link takes large files, and applicants can't see each other's documents.

Why it works

Portfolios fit
Applicants can send large portfolios and work samples that would bounce off an email attachment limit.
Applicants stay separate
With View off, applicants can't browse the folder or see what others sent. Each candidate just adds their own files.
Nothing gets lost in a mailbox
Everything for one job lands in one folder on your Mac, ready to open, instead of being spread across a shared inbox.

How to set it up

  1. Create a folder for the job and choose Share with ordner.link.

  2. Tick Upload, untick View, set Who can open it to Anyone so applicants don't wait for approval, and set Link expires to the application period. Set limits for file size and files per visit.

  3. Send the link to applicants, or put it in the job ad with a password for strangers to ask for. Applications land in the folder on your Mac.

What to keep in mind

Your Mac must be awake and online for uploads, and up to 20 visitors can be connected at once. Set upload limits in the share, and treat files from strangers with the usual care. Applicant data stays your responsibility.

Questions

Do applicants see other applications?

Not with View unticked. They can send files but can't see the folder.

Do applicants need an account?

No. They open the link in a browser and add their files.
